As one of the most important European destinations, the country will be bringing various products and services to the exhibition
At the fourth edition of WTM Latin America, which is taking place between 29 – 31 March in Expo Center Norte in São Paulo at the same time as the 45th Braztoa Business Event, the United Kingdom will be heavily represented, following a period of at least six years when it has not been present in any travel shows in Latin America.
This European destination will bring its main products to the exhibition pavilion, among which are London’s attractions and musical shows, by way of Encore Tickets, the leading agency in the ticket sale sector in the UK for theatrical performances in the English capital. The company offers an extremely wide range of entertainment options, from classical and highly acclaimed musicals, like “Phantom of the Opera”, to recently launched shows, museums and even helicopter rides.
Worldwide is another company that will be sharing space on Stand 37. Based in London, this DMC (Destination Management Company) has more than 10 branches worldwide: the United States, Switzerland, France, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and India. Specializing in serving tour operators and travel agencies for individual and group reservations, it offers a broad range of services, from accommodation, train tickets and multilingual guides to assistance for conferences and events. Eurowelcome, on the other hand, an inbound tour operator, has offices in London and Edinburgh and makes available products for the leisure, luxury and corporate markets. With the brand, Anglovision Tours, the company also takes travellers on tours starting from Edinburgh, London and Dublin.
Visitors and buyers at WTM Latin America 2016 will also be able to get to know the services offered by Generator Hostels. Present in various European cities, like London, Barcelona, Paris and Venice, the chain achieved prominence worldwide by combining luxury accommodation with affordable prices. Capemoor Apartments, registered in the United Kingdom and specializing in renting quality flats in the main destinations around the world, including London, Dubai and Spain, will present what’s new in terms of its services for corporate and independent customers travelling on business or leisure.
The Historic Royal Palaces completes the list of exhibitors from the United Kingdom. Set up in 1998, the independent charitable institution administers some of the unoccupied royal palaces in the UK, like the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, which is southwest of the English capital, and some areas of Kensington Palace, like the historic living quarters and the Sunken Garden.
“The United Kingdom is one of the most relevant destinations in the world in tourism, cultural and economic terms. We’re delighted to receive this ‘giant’ at WTM Latin America after six years without exhibiting in events in Latin America. This partnership promises to bear a lot of fruit not only for the UK, but also for our visitors and buyers. We hope that this is the start of a long-lasting and fruitful relationship”, says Lawrence Reinisch, Director of WTM Latin America.
