Crystal_2The Westin Tokyo, part of Westin Hotels & Resorts, announced the unveiling of its renovated 4th floor meeting rooms. Set to open on Friday, July 1, 2016, the refreshed facilities boast a dynamic new design and more space, including a luxury meeting lounge.

The finished product of a renovation plan that has been in the works since 2015, the new design encompasses seven meeting areas on the 4thfloor, including the newly added Crystal Room, providing flexible and modern facilities to complement the extensive offerings at the hotel. These spaces have been designed with high-end functionality, graceful luxury and comfort, all the while retaining the classical European style that symbolizes The Westin Tokyo.

Specifically, the meeting rooms allow soft natural light to filter in through large windows overlooking the streets of Ebisu; this serves as a true oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city, enabling visitors to relax. Also, effective communications are ensured with highly functional spaces, which are equipped with built-in screens and projectors. Moreover, a lounge between the rooms allows for stylish refreshment breaks, post-meeting cocktail parties and other intimate events.

“We are pleased to introduce our new hotel enhancements to guests, offering even more productivity and style in the heart of Tokyo,” said Charles Jack, General Manager, The Westin Tokyo. “This refresh of meeting spaces will help The Westin Tokyo boost its award-winning approach by creating greater options for our guests, while continuously promoting personalized services with effortless experience they have come to expect from the Westin name.”

Further distinguishing qualities of the rooms are as follows:

Crystal (Area: 82 m2)

With dramatic views of Tokyo’s cityscape, including Tokyo Tower, this luxurious space features sofas and tables set on either side of the large counter in the center of the room, which can be utilized for coffee breaks and cocktails as well as for the display of products. The open salon design lets in ample natural light as well as outside air from the windows, making this a comfortable, relaxed zone.

Sapphire (Area: 82 m2)

With distinctive elements, Sapphire encompasses custom-design chairs, a built-in screen, fresh air from the windows and magnificent views. Conducive to successful executive meetings, the interior design fuses the hotel’s European style with Japanese grace.

Aquamarine (Area: 50 m2) and Pearl (Area: 40 m2)

With a sense of understated elegance, these two naturally lit spaces offer plush sofas; they can be utilized as function or waiting rooms.
