The World Famous Event “Play Me, I’m Yours” Steps Foot In Hong Kong Music Flows Through The City Streets
As part of an internationally touring artwork devised by British artist Luke Jerram, “Play Me, I’m Yours” has toured around the streets of 47 major cities over the past 7 years. The uniquely designed pianos aim to bring people together through the universal language – music! The internationally renowned “Play Me, I’m Yours” project is officially in Hong Kong!
“Our Hong Kong, Our Talents – Play Me, I’m Yours” kicked off today at one of the city’s most densely populated communities: Mong Kok. An array of pianos was designed with Hong Kong in mind by local designers. Gathering citizens to embrace their creative side, everyone is encouraged to bond through music with no restrictions and demonstrate their musical ability to those around them.
The opening of “Our Hong Kong, Our Talents – Play Me, I’m Yours” will take place on August 17, 2015. More details of the route and related programs for “Our Hong Kong, Our Talents – Play Me, I’m Yours” will be announced during the opening. Professional pianists at the opening ceremony will not only perform, but also provide tips to the public on playing the piano!
Local designers decorated the Hong Kong-themed pianos in Mong Kok, drawing appreciation from the public.
