Offering a combination of yoga, meditation and a five-kilometre run, the world’s first and only “mindful triathlon” is coming to Canberra.
Wanderlust 108 first launched in New York City in 2014, bringing the mindful triathlon experience to more than 10,000 participants. After the overwhelmingly positive response, the series has expanded to more than 30 cities in 2016, including events in Canada, Mexico, Chile, Germany, New Zealand and Australia.
Wanderlust’s re-imagined triathlon consists of a five-kilometre run, a large-scale 90-minute yoga class and a guided meditation led by top teachers at Stage 88, in Canberra’s beautiful Commonwealth Park, on November 19.
This is a triathlon for everybody – a non-competitive, just-for-fun opportunity to do it all. Triathletes will also enjoy musical performances from DJs, acroyoga, slacklining and hooping.
