This September, Feast On Fashion From Brisbane’s Highest Point, With Queensland’s Leading Fashion Designers At The Summit Fashion Luncheon, Hosted By The Style Report’s Laura Churchill.
Lunch with leading local designers Sacha Drake, Tengdahl and White Label Noba, who join Laura, sharing tips on trends and styles to inspire the seasonal wardrobe for spring and summer with makeup from Issada Cosmetics and hair by Oscar Oscar Salons. With sweeping views overlooking Brisbane city and beyond to the bays, Summit Restaurant & Bar will be host to a glittering midday treat of fashion and food.
Stylist Laura Churchill is eagerly preparing for The Summit Fashion Luncheon. “I’m looking forward to showing new season collections from some of my favourite Brisbane designers,” she said. “They really do summer fashion in Queensland so well and between White Label Noba, Sacha Drake and Tengdahl, we will have every occasion covered,” she said.
Renowned Brisbane designer Sacha Drake is also looking forward to chatting to Laura about her designs over lunch. “Summer at Sacha Drake is all about cool, crisp shapes and bold, clean lines,” she said. “We want everyone who wears Sacha Drake to be free to be themselves in easy-fit, versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down.”
Another of Brisbane’s design talents Julie Tengdahl will share her new season designs and the travel stories that inspired them, with her Amor Fati (Love of Fate) Collection sure to impress. “Brisbane fashion comes alive in summer with injections of colour, texture and reflective of the quintessential effortless style inherent in our Queensland lifestyle,” she said. “The prints featured in this collection were digital recreations of ancient rugs and artifacts that I was given during my journey through this remote – and strikingly beautiful – part of the world,” she said.
The Summit Fashion Luncheon is an especial two-course sit-down lunch designed by Executive Chef Sam McCrystal, overlooking the panoramic vista of Brisbane city to the bays. Each guest will receive a gift, win door prizes and participate in an online auction with all proceeds going towards the PA Research Foundation for Breast Cancer. A select list of VIP guests such as host of Network Ten’s Eyewitness News Georgina Lewis, will be attending, representing the PA Research Foundation and fashion industry.
