Three New Swiss Peaks Available through Rail Europe GSAs

June 15, 2016 Rail No Comments Email Email

Effective 16 June, agents will be able to book and issue three new Swiss Peak coupons for their clients prior to their trip to Switzerland.

Essentially, the mountain railway climbing to the peak of Schynige Platte will be included in the Swiss Travel Pass, while coupons to Grindelwald First and Harder Kulm in Interlaken can be issued locally via Rail Europe GSAs.

Manager Australasia, Ingrid Kocijan, says these new changes have been brought about to allow agents to better assist their clients in their plans for Switzerland.

“Ticketing coupons locally will help travellers save any queue times while they are in Switzerland, especially during peak seasons,” says Ingrid. “This allows them to just enjoy the sights and activities with one less thing to worry about.”

Agents are reminded that Rail Europe tickets are distributed by Rail Plus, Rail Tickets, CIT Holidays and Infinity Rail in Australia; and Rail Plus and Go Holidays in New Zealand.
