Three Pandaws in India

Pandaw are delighted to announce that yesterday the KINDAT PANDAW arrived in India after safely crossing over the Bay of Bengal from Burma.

The KINDAT joins her sisters the KALAW and KATHA making three Pandaw ships in India now. As most departures are now full or nearly full the KINDAT will offer additional departures at busy times.

Pandaw are offering seven nights Lower Ganges exploring the cultural treasures of West Bengal and a fourteen night Upper Ganges voyage to Varanasi taking in the sacred Buddhist sites of Bodh Gaya.

These shallow draft ‘K Class’ ships can make it all the way up to Varanasi throughout the sailing season, and with only two decks can get under low bridges in the monsoon.

Indeed, no vessels could be more suited to voyages on India’s challenging inland waters and no other vessels on the Indian rivers offer Pandaw’s high standards of comfort and safety.
