Reaching the big milestone of 21 doesn’t happen every day and to celebrate, Tigerair Australia is offering customers thousands of one-way fares starting from $21* as part of the airline’s network wide ’21 Millionth Passenger Sale’.

The ‘21 Millionth Passenger Sale’ sale starts at midday today (AEST) and finishes at midday (AEST) Wednesday 7 September (or until seats sell out), with all on-sale fares for travel between early February and late March 2017.
Over 12,000 Light Fares* are available across Tigerair’s 18 domestic and three international routes, starting from $21* one way as part of the airline’s ’21 Millionth Passenger Sale’.
The lucky 21 millionth passenger on Tigerair Australia, Theodora van Ravenstein from Ballarat, was on board flight TT218 from Melbourne to Sydney earlier this morning.
Theodora and her daughter Martina were met at Melbourne Airport upon arrival and presented with a $500 travel voucher to put towards future travel on the Tigerair network.
“We’re travelling to Sydney this morning to visit my granddaughter and this has already made our day.”
“We regularly choose to fly Tigerair as they provide a great value and reliable option for us to get to Sydney to spend time with our family up there and we will definitely be using these vouchers to see them more often.”
Tigerair Australia Head of Communications Vanessa Regan says the 21 millionth passenger milestone is another significant milestone for the airline which continues to go from strength to strength in terms of punctuality performance and customer satisfaction.
“Reaching 21 is cause for celebration for many and it’s no different for the team at Tigerair Australia. Welcoming our 21 millionth passenger onboard since operations commenced in Australia in November 2007 is a major achievement for our airline and we wanted to spread the excitement with today’s network wide sale featuring fares from just $21*.”
“The number 21 is also associated with coming of age and we’re proud to say that Tigerair is now consistently delivering on its promise of great and reliable fights with exceptional customer service.”
“Tigerair has been the most punctual low cost carrier over the past eighteen months, held the lowest cancellation rate of all major domestic airlines over the same period, and introduced a number of customer facing initiatives to make booking and flying Tigerair better than ever before.”
Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and book early to avoid any potential disappointment.
