Tigerair Australia Celebrates Flying 19 Millionth Passenger with Bumper Sale Featuring All Domestic and International Routes on Sale Starting From As Low As $19*
Tigerair Australia has today announced a special sale to celebrate flying the airline’s 19 millionth passenger, with thousands of fares across the domestic and international network on sale, starting from as low as $19* one way.
The 19 millionth passenger sale kicks off at midday today (AEDT) and runs until midday (AEDT) Saturday 16 April (or until seats sell out), with all on-sale fares for travel between mid-July and mid-September 2016.
The 19 millionth passenger on Tigerair Australia, Lucy MacPherson from Melbourne, was on board flight TT228 from Melbourne to Sydney with her partner Jaimee-Lee Jeffs and their daughter Aibel earlier this morning (attached).
Lucy and her family were met at Melbourne Airport upon departure and presented with three $190 vouchers to put towards future travel on the Tigerair network.
“We’re regular Tigerair customers and winning these travel vouchers has been a great way to start the day. We’re heading up to Sydney to catch up with family today and we’ll definitely put these vouchers towards a return trip to visit them again later in the year.”
Head of Communications, Vanessa Regan, says reaching the 19 millionth passenger milestone is another significant achievement for the Tigerair Australia, as it continues to deliver on its promise of being Australia’s most reliable low cost airline.
“Tigerair Australia has delivered consistently great value
fares since we commenced domestic operations in November 2007 and we are also now delivering consistently on time services and industry lowest cancellation rates which is what our customers want. Everyone loves low fares and on time flights, with more money in their pocket to spend when they get there.
“Today’s sale gives more people the opportunity to take a much needed, affordable break in Australia or to our new international destination, Bali. As always, there are a limited number of discounted seats available, so get your skates and book early on to secure a great value fare.”
