Tigerair Australia Customers Are Now Able To Purchase Airfares and Optional Extras Using Paypal

Tigerair Australia customers will have more value and choice with the option of using PayPal as an online payment method when purchasing base fares and optional extras at tigerair.com.au, starting from today.http://www.banyantree.com/en/ap-thailand-phuket-doublepool-villas

Domestic fare payments made using PayPal will attract a booking and service fee of $4 per flight, per person. A booking and service fee of $6 per flight, per person will be charged for international fare payments made with PayPal.

To purchase fares and extras using PayPal, customers simply select their flights on tigerair.com.au and log in to their PayPal account on the payment page.

Tigerair Australia Commercial Director Adam Rowe says, “The introduction of PayPal as a form of payment with Tigerair is another example of how we are looking to continually improve our overall experience and ensure travel is more affordable and convenient for our passengers. TigerairAustralia has a clear focus on delivering more value and choice and today’s announcement provides customers choosing to fly Tigerair with another affordable payment option.”

A special ‘2FOR1 sale’ across each of Tigerair’s 18 domestic routes is on now to celebrate the announcement of PayPal as another form ofpayment when booking with the airline.

The sale will finish at midday (AEST) Friday 24 June 2016 and features thousands of ‘two for the price of one’ fares for travel in May 2017. To take advantage of this offer, customers simply need to enter the promo code ‘2FOR1’ during the booking process.

The option to make payments using PayPal will become available through the Tigerair mobile app and via the ‘Manage My Booking’ function attigerair.com.au later in the year. If customers don’t have a PayPal account, they can sign up for free at www.paypal.com.au
