In a further boost to Tigerair Australia’s partnership with Melbourne Storm Rugby League Club, the airline will feature prominently on the front of the team’s playing jersey for the remainder of the 2016 NRL premiership season and finals series, starting fromtonight.http://indusatryclub.com.au/

Tigerair’s logo will appear on the front collar of Melbourne Storm’s playing jersey from tonight’s clash with the Canberra Raiders. The airline will also retain pride of place on the lower back of the jersey. Tigerair will retain both positions on the Storm’s jersey until the end of the 2020 NRL season.

Tigerair Australia Commercial Director Adam Rowe says the airline is pleased to be enhancing its on-field presence and further cementing its association with the Storm.

“We are proud to have gained an increased presence on the front of Melbourne Storm’s iconic playing jersey, beginning from this weekend’s match and lasting through until the end of the 2020 NRL season.”

“The entire team at Tigerair Australia looks forward to cheering on the boys in purple as they reach the business end of the season and ramp up their charge for premiership glory.”

Melbourne Storm Chief Commercial Officer Ben Dunn said, “Tigerair is an integral member of the Storm family and we are excited to head into the 2016 NRL finals series with a strengthened relationship.

“The increased presence on the playing strip will extend into 2017 and beyond.”

As well as high profile on-field branding, Tigerair Australia continues to provide a range of dynamic and innovative game-day activations for Storm fans attending games at AAMI Park, including the Tigerair blimp, flight voucher giveaways and appearances by Toby the Tigerair mascot.

Tigerair and Melbourne Storm also continue to interact with fans through special offers and deals to encourage them to fly Tigerair so they can see their team in action more often over the coming seasons.

Earlier this year, Tigerair Australia announced a five-year sponsorship extension as the official airline partner of Melbourne Storm that runs until the conclusion of the 2020 NRL season and extends the partnership into an eighth consecutive season.

To celebrate the sponsorship extension, Tigerair unveiled an A320 aircraft re-badged with Melbourne Storm livery. The aircraft is officially named after Cameron Smith, skipper for Melbourne Storm and the Queensland State of Origin and Australian rugby league teams. The re-badged A320 has been jetting around Australia’s skies since March 2016.
