Tigerair Australia (Tigerair) has re-invented its digital travel experience, rolling out a suite of
innovations across its digital platforms including a re-designed Tigerair.com.au website,
upgraded airport kiosk technology and the airline will soon be releasing a refreshed mobile app
to enable a seamless customer experience.
Finding the best flight fares with Tigerair is easier than ever before with the new website which
features a transformed flight search function as well as a new purpose-built online destination
hub to explore the 12 exciting Tigerair destinations across Australia. The website will also
provide easier access to the Manage My Booking portal for customers who have already booked
a flight. Once they arrive at the airport, customers are now also able to enhance their flying
experience with value-add extras at the self-service check in.

Tigerair Australia General Manager Customer Journey Hope Antzoulatos said: “We know that the
way our customers are booking and researching flights has changed so we have re-imagined our
online experience to create a one-stop-shop for all of their travel needs – from creating an easier
flight search function to better managing their booking and checking in.”

“Tigerair is the only Australian airline to have this refreshingly simple and dynamic search
experience which offers complete transparency around fare availability and provides a seamless
and intuitive customer journey from booking to boarding.”

Customers can now create bookings in one intuitive interaction allowing more flexibility and
transparency when searching for the best flight option. Snapping up fare deals on the go is also
easier than ever before with an improved content experience and faster online performance.
In addition to the website enhancements, Tigerair has also upgraded its airport check-in kiosks
so customers can now avoid those pesky airport queues and easily self-manage their booking
with the opportunity to add extra baggage, queue jump and seat selection via a kiosk credit or
debit card payment (Mastercard, Visa or American Express). The upgrades have rolled out
across Melbourne and Brisbane, with Sydney, Gold Coast and Adelaide scheduled to go live this
month in time for the busy September school holiday period.

Tigerair also now allows customers with Android devices to use a Google Pay boarding pass and
simply check-in and store their pass in their Google Pay wallet.

The digital enhancements will be complemented by upgrades to the Tigerair mobile application
over the coming months. Customers are encouraged to take the new website for a test flight and
go for their next adventure at the new Tigerair.com.au and download the mobile app to be the
first to experience features as they are released.
