After appearing on The Voice earlier this year, Brisbane singer Tim McCallum has been in popular demand. Despite a busy schedule, he still manages to make time for a cause close to heart, national charity Assistance Dogs Australia.
To show his support for Assistance Dogs Australia, Tim will be performing a special concert in Martin Place, Sydney – kicking off their annual awareness month, Dogtober.
“I love being involved in Dogtober, Assistance Dogs Australia have provided me with the most invaluable life tool I could possibly need.” said Tim.
After receiving his Assistance Dog Roxy seven years ago, Tim became an ambassador for Assistance Dogs Australia and has played an important role in the discussions around service dog accessibility.
Tim will be performing spine-tingling operatic classics, including Nessun Dorma, which turned three judge’s chairs on The Voice earlier this year.
Tim will take to the stage at 12.30pm, on Thursday 1st October 2015, in Martin Place.
Joining him on stage will also be a host of Assistance Dogs and super puppies in training, demonstrating some of the life-changing skills that they have been learning.
Tim will be available for media interviews from 7.30am-11.30am on Thursday 1st October.
