G-POWM, the latest Airbus A320 addition to Titan’s fleet, will be operating on behalf of the leading leisure airline for a five month period.

For the new role G-POWM will relocate from Stansted to Glasgow airport, where it will be based from the beginning of May to the end of September.  The aircraft, which will cover flights to popular summer destinations in Spain and Portugal, will be configured with 180 standard leather seats for the duration of the contract.

The new agreement follows a successful two aircraft deal between the two carriers in 2013 when contracted both an Airbus A320 and a Boeing 757 aircraft from Titan Airways for their Newcastle and Manchester operations.

G-POWM is the third A320 to join Titan Airways’ expanding fleet since 2013.  With the new arrivals, the carrier’s fleet now comprises 3 Airbus A320’s, a Boeing 767, 2 Boeing 757’s, 3 Boeing B737’s and a Cessna Citation CJ2+.

Titan Airways, who also specialise in ad hoc charter operations, including rapid response AOG recovery flights, corporate events, music and film industry needs, private engagements and tour operator requests, is expected to announce further lease agreements in the coming months.
