A trip to neighbouring Yanuya Village is one of the most memorable experiences at Tokoriki. The village has a population of 400 adults and 200 children with many of the wonderful team at Tokoriki Island Resort hailing from Yanuya.

Part of the cultural village tour includes a visit to Yvonne Kindergarten, donated by the owners of Tokoriki Island Resort. The school cares for 165 students ranging from year 1 to year 6.  Tokoriki guests donated pencils, books, clothing, rugby balls, and toys for the youngsters. Each child received a special gift bag full of school items and their contagious smiles showed just how excited they were with their gifts.
