One Ocean Expeditions (OOE) is pleased to announce the return of two award-winning Canadian photographers to an exclusive ‘Enhanced Photography’ program for the Antarctica 2020/2021 season. A photographer’s dream voyage, the itinerary takes guests on a visual adventure as they travel alongside renowned photographers Dave Brosha and Paul Zizka, famed photographers that will guide guests through the experience of a lifetime in the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and Antarctica

Well-known as a mountain landscape and adventure photographer, Paul Zizka loves sharing the beauty and grandeur of nature. He was named a Fellow of The Royal Canadian Geographical Society (RCGS) in 2017 and his works have been featured in publications such as Maclean’s, National Geographic Adventure, Canadian Geographic, and many others. Dave Brosha, named ‘one of the most celebrated photographers in the world’ by Nikon is also an RCGS Fellow, as well as a Sigma Pro Photographer and a Strobepro Professional. He is a passionate Canadian photographer, educator, explorer and writer. Together, Dave and Paul launched OFFBEAT, an online community for photographers that also hosts workshops around the globe.

“It will be a privilege to introduce fellow photographers to what I consider to be one of the most stunning parts of our planet,” says Paul Zizka. “I very much look forward to assisting passengers as they seek to create images of the ‘White Continent’ that they will treasure forever.”

A world leader in expedition cruising, OOE prides itself on leading unique, interest-led and small group programming. Featuring hands-on tutorials tailored to each guests’ individual needs, OOE’s signature photography programs create ambassadors for these fragile regions through photography and expert-led excursions. With daily pre-excursion meetings, dedicated photography Zodiacs, specialty landings, interactive workshops and excursions based on light, budding photographers and photography enthusiasts can make the most of the exceptional photographic opportunities. This ‘Enhanced Photography’ itinerary is led by two dedicated photographers providing an in-depth version of the photography program offered on every voyage by talented photographers-in-residence.

Operating in the most remote and pristine environments on the planet, these voyages are rich in active adventures and educational experiences with exceptional encounters with wildlife and the surrounding landscapes. The Enhanced Photography program will offer workshops led in an encouraging and fun environment with technical and creative support and group or personal reviews.

OOE also offers unique Photography Symposium departures with five or more professional photographers. Award-winning OOE and Canadian Geographic Photographer-in-Residence Daisy Gilardini will be leading Photography Symposiums in both 2019 and 2020, with the upcoming South Georgia In-Depth Photography Symposium taking place in November 2019, followed by Symposiums in Spitsbergen in June 2020 and the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and Antarctica in November 2020.
