Topdeck releases Egypt, Jordan & Israel brochure

Leading youth travel operator Topdeck has released its new Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Turkey and Morocco 2014/15 brochure which features more departures on trips in increasingly popular Morocco.

The program offers 22 adventures designed exclusively for 18 to 39 year olds which include the Giza Pyramids, exploring the Jordanian desert by 4×4 in Wadi Rum and cruising the River Nile on a traditional felucca and a 5-star boat.

Each trip offers included ‘Totally Topdeck’ included experiences such as a visit to the temples of Abu Simbel in Egypt, a guided tour of Petra in Jordan and a night under the stars in a Berber camp in Morocco.

“As a result we have increased departures on trips such as the Moroccan Explorer and Marrakech Atlas Trek.

“With Roman ruins, Islamic architecture, Mediterranean and Atlantic beaches, Saharan Desert, the High Atlas Mountains and its ski resorts, and a wide variety of cultural influences including Arab, Berber, African, French and Spanish, Morocco is surprisingly diverse.”

Discover the best of Morocco on the 10-day Moroccan Explorer roundtrip from Marrakech which includes a guided tour of the exotic city including the famous Djemaa el-Fna Square featuring fire-eaters, fortune tellers and snake charmers, the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a full day tour of Fes taking in its maze-like medina, a night in the Sahara in Berber tents and the impressive Todra and Dades Gorges in the Atlas Mountains.

Prices are from $915* per person + $US185 local payment and also include nine breakfasts, one lunch, two dinners, accommodation, arrival transfer from airport to hotel and services of an English-speaking trip leader.

Other popular Morocco tours include the 8-day Sahara Adventure which includes a Marrakech horse and carriage ride, an overnight in a Kasbah in Tamnougalt village, a chance to go skiing on huge sand dunes, a night at a Berber camp and a visit to Tata and its incredible rock formations from $965* per person + US$185 local payment.

The 5-day Marrakech Atlas Trek takes travellers through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, passing through spectacular terrain and local villages and staying in a Berber house and traditional riad from $515* per person + US$85 local payment.

All itineraries operate regularly between May 2014 and April 2015.

Each trip also features authentic local food experiences such as a traditional tajine while visiting Dades Gorge in Morocco, small group sizes of no more than 30, local crew and plenty of free time.
