Topdeck revamps passenger documentation process

Youth travel operator Topdeck has revamped its passenger documentation system with agents and passengers now able to access documents online immediately after a booking.

The personalised documents, or Trip Notes, can be accessed on the Topdeck website through a login in the ‘My Topdeck’ area.

The documents include itineraries, joining instructions, hotel lists, optional activities list and general pre-departure information. All documentation will now only be available from the Topdeck website.

“The way we are handling documents is changing for the better,” Topdeck Director of Sales Asia Pacific Ben Ittensohn said.

“The Topdeck website is now a one-stop shop for all documentation, with these changes offering a more streamlined and convenient process for both agents and passengers.”

As soon as a booking has been created, agents and passengers will be able to login and access the generic trip notes, which include hotel list and pre-departure information.

The trip voucher, which will now be known as a ‘boarding pass’, will become available when a booking is finalised, paid in full and six weeks’ prior to trip departure.

Passengers will be encouraged to login again two days prior to their departure date so they can ensure they have the most up to date information on their trip.
