Toscana Resort Castelfalfi to Open New Five-Star Hotel, Il Castelfalfi, in Spring 2017

image003Toscana Resort Castelfalfi will open the doors to Il Castelfalfi, a five-star hotel tucked away in Tuscany. This will be the region’s first new build in 25 years and will sit on a 2,700 acre estate in an 800 year old Medieval village.

Built with a modern approach to sustainability and using traditional materials like wood and stone, the 120-room property has been designed with great attention while highlighting the beauty of its surroundings.

Additional features include a 6,500 square foot restaurant featuring a Mediterranean-inspired menu and designed in muted and earthy tones with views and a covered veranda overlooking the resort’s picturesque valley. An 11,000 square foot spa will be home to an indoor-outdoor pool, treatment rooms and a variety of areas designed for relaxation and rejuvenation including a sauna, bio sauna, hammam, salt cave and ice cave. Il Castelfalfi will also offer more than 2,000 square feet of meetings space and a 2,000+ square foot gym.


Beyond the new property are exceptional experiences worth exploring during a stay. Wander through an 865 acre natural reserve, great for hunting, game-watching, horseback riding and foraging for truffles and vegetables. Tee off at the 27 hole golf course, the largest course in Tuscany, including an 18-hole, par 72 Mountain Course. Tour 57 acres of vineyards and 10,000+ olive trees with the property’s agriculture director to learn about and experience the estate’s traditional farming operations and taste Castelfalfi’s estate-produced wines.
