‘Tour De Force’ Art Exhibition Launched in Dubai In Collaboration with Paris-Based Artist Ryan Arbilo And UNICEF Artist CESCO

Park Regis Kris Kin hotel collaborated with Paris-based award winning artist Ryan Arbilo and UNICEF artist Cesco Concepcion for ‘Tour De Force’ Exhibition featuring 17 empowering Filipinos. The event was graced by the Philippine Embassy led by His Excellency Ambassador Constancio Vingno. The hotel welcomes international art and design to Dubai for the first time and has curated a unique in-hotel exhibition as an early celebration for World Art Dubai 2017.

“Filipinos abroad are the ambassadors of our rich art and culture. The Philippines is getting more popular, not only because of its economic advances but also because of the zest and enthusiasm of our people. I commend the artist here today Ryan Arbilo and Cesco Concepcion for your ingenuity and brilliant works. You have raised the level of Filipino talent by receiving international recognition for your artwork and photography and now featuring inspirational and empowering people in the community.” says Ambassador Constancio Vingno.

The exhibition was launched on its first night April 1, 2017, and will be displayed until April 5, 2017 entitled ‘Tour De Force’ features 17 Most Empowering Filipinos including Ambassador Constancy Vingo, Yoko Ramos, Consul General Paul Raymond Cortes, Top Fashion Designers Furne One Amato, Michael Cinco and Ezra Santos, Top editor and media influencer Josh Mangila, top lawyer Barney Almazar, HR Director Vagelyn Federico, PR Maven Ian Borromeo and other inspirational Filipinos such as Teng Roma, Antoinette Gaza, Melanie Limjoco, Rex Bacarra, Jef Anog, Michael del Mar and Lou Bunyi to inspire millions of Filipinos working abroad captured by Paris-based artist featured in many publications and whose work was exhibited in the most prestigious museum La Maison Europeenne de la Photography in Paris, France painted by Cesco Concepcion whose work has been featured in UNICEF art exhibitions worldwide. Cesco draws inspiration from day-to-day living and stories of Filipinos living overseas and uses techniques such as hand and feet painting. As pioneers and trailblazers, each artist aims to show their work from their own creative viewpoint. in the direction of Mabu Concepcion.

Ryan Arbilo and Cesco Concepcion said, “Tour de Force Art Exhibition aims to tell the stories of Filipinos living in the UAE with their inspirational and empowering journey. We know thousands of stories of overseas Filipinos living in the UAE and for our first exhibition, we selected 17 personalities who shared their personal experiences that inspired us to do their photograph and painting. Putting art on the forefront is our main goal. More than the personalities, we were inspired by their struggles and how they overcome those challenges which is reflected in all strokes, colours, shapes and interpretations that we have applied to each painting”

Mabu Concepcion, the Tour de Force Director expresses gratitude to Dubai for being the premier host city. The team will also hold exhibitions to other cities such as Paris, New York, London, Oslo, Hong Kong and more to further feature inspiration Filipinos in every corner of the world.
