A new event in the Macarthur region will see guests venture through the historic streets of Camden, led by a medium who will give a psychic demonstration and tell haunting tales of the region’s colourful past.

The tour will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018, beginning at 7pm.

Including a light dinner, coffee and dessert, the tour will be led by psychic/medium, Tracey Lee, a Camden local who is excited to share the spooky sights and stories of her hometown. The tour will include a visit to one of the oldest buildings in Camden, the Macarthur Terraces, built by John Macarthur in the colonial pioneer after whom the region is named.

The evening will begin at the funky and stylish Upstairs@Fred’s on Camden’s main street, where guests will enjoy dinner before taking a walking tour through Camden. Coffee and dessert will follow the tour, along with a psychic demonstration from Tracey Lee.

The adults-only tour costs $97 per person (plus booking fee) and more information can be found on the ‘What’s on’ page at macarthur.com.au or by calling 0413 618 887. Bookings are essential.

The rural heart of the Macarthur region, Camden was established in 1840 and was the birthplace of Australia’s wool, wine and wheat industries. As one of the country’s most historic country towns, dozens of its historic buildings remain intact, including churches, cottages, manor houses, inns, a courthouse and police station. The area has a rich and colourful history, and its art galleries, gardens, museum, parks, wineries and eateries make it a popular destination located just 60 minutes from Sydney’s CBD.
