Sarnath

Sarnath is another Buddhist pilgrimage which is located In Varanasi, India. After attaining enlightenment Buddha went to Sarnath.  In Deer Park of Sarnath Buddha taught Dhrama first time after gained enlightenment. Gautama Buddha taught the principles as well as meaning of dharma to his followers. Buddha also spent his rainy season in Sarnath at the place Mulagandhakuti Vihara. The splendid Ashokan Pillar in Sarnath is the symbol of National Emblem of India that presents a earlier glimpse of ancient art during Ashoka’s period. Lumbini

Lumbini is the birth place of Gautama Buddha when his mother Mayadevi was on way to her parental home. Gautama Siddhartha was born here later he became Lord Buddha. Lumbini is the first and sacred site of Lord Buddha and from here the Buddhism arise exactly.  Lumbini is the great Buddhist pilgrimage which is very closer to Gautama Buddha’s life.
