POPULAR consumer demand has prompted boutique adventure operator Travel Directors to introduce a new 29-day itinerary branded “Sequel to the Balkans” for past passengers who have done the “Soul of the Balkans” tour or those looking for a more unique first Balkan experience.
The new itinerary includes visits to Serbia, the Hungarian capital Budapest, Slovenia, an 11-day voyage aboard MS Emanuel along the Dalmatian coast and a visit to the Plitvice Lakes on the way to Zagreb in Croatia.
A point of difference on the cruise itinerary is the voyage covers the northern Dalmatian coastline from Pula to Split, offering a deeper experience of the islands, extraordinary townships and superb National Parks of the region before travelling by road via the Plitvice Lakes to Zagreb.
The package includes return flights from Australia, regional flights, transport and airport transfers, along with all accommodation, meals, tips and gratuities.
The tour is conducted by an experienced Travel Directors’ tour leader, with local guides, and includes entrance fees to all sightseeing attractions along the way.
Departing on July 13, 2016, the entire itinerary costs $17,990 per person twin share, although a reasonable single supplement is available for solo travellers.
