We want to grow our tourism strength and for this we need good and well trained Seychellois to become the backbone of our industry. This display by our your trainees shows the determination of the Government to deliver for the tourism trade qualified team members. This is all part of our drive to put more emphasis on the product side of our tourism industry and in so doing look at the yield from the tourism industry with wider lens possible. We all know of the shortfalls and challenges we currently face and we also know that these will not be resolved by themselves. The small industry players who are all Seychellois entrepreneurs are making their case for a greater share of the tourism arrival numbers and Government is today exploring ways and means to ensure they succeed in the industry that remains the pillar of the Seychelles economy” said Miniser St.Ange at the FetAfrik Trade Fair.
