Tourism Authority of Thailand Continues Sponsorship of Miss World Australia as part of Women’s Journey Thailand Campaign

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Sydney Office continues its “Women’s Journey Thailand” campaign for the second consecutive year to attract female travellers to Thailand during month of August to mark the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 85th birthday.

As part of the campaign, TAT will invite Miss World Australia 2017 and the Miss World Australia runners up, as Australian representatives to attend the Opening Ceremony of “Women’s Journey Thailand” in Bangkok, before embarking on a wide range of activities throughout Thailand, of appeal to both groups and individual travellers.

Ms.Rujiras Chatchalermkit, TAT Sydney Director said, “This campaign was very successful last year in encouraging female travellers – whether travelling alone or with group of friends – with a fantastic range of special offers, discounts, and privileges during August.

“This year we aim to continue to promote Thailand through the Unique Thai Local Experiences, encouraging women to discover Thailand’s many amazing stories, through unique and memorable local experiences. Miss World Australia 2017 and the runners up will visit Thailand to sample some of these local experiences so they can share their stories with Australian audiences.”

TAT Sydney Office will continue to launch new and innovative campaigns throughout 2017, collaborating with relevant partners to promote Thailand as a quality leisure destination to the Australian market.
