Tourism New Zealand has launched its latest brand campaign, 100% Pure Welcome – 100% Pure New Zealand, with the creation of new resources and tools for Australian travel agents.

There is a range of new sales tools on offer including themed itineraries, videos from local guides, and content to enable Australian agents to sell New Zealand to every type of customer.

Local guides and operators from across the country have jumped on-board the campaign, extending their famous kiwi hospitality in the form of Good Morning World videos. The videos provide a glimpse into the lives of the guides, their local knowledge and the experiences on offer.

To kick off the year-long campaign, Australian travel agents can win a place on the Tourism New Zealand and Air New Zealand 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist Famil, to meet local guides in-person and explore one of 10 New Zealand itineraries.

Tourism New Zealand General Manager Australia, Andrew Waddel said travel agents are key to inspiring Australian holidaymakers to travel across the ditch for their next trip.

“Nearly 50% of Australians book their New Zealand holiday through a travel agent, so we view agents as our most powerful destination advocates.

“Most of these agents have travelled extensively and have experienced first-hand the wonder of travelling to New Zealand for the landscape but leaving with memories of the people.

“The Traveltrade site and tools will give agents the knowledge to provide top-notch recommendations and sell richer and more complex New Zealand itineraries.

Air New Zealand Regional General Manager Australia Kathryn Robertson said the airline prides itself on its warm Kiwi service and is excited to host agents onboard and welcome them on behalf of New Zealand.

“Air New Zealand operates more trans-Tasman routes from more Australian cities than any other airline and we continue to invest significantly in our customer experience on the ground and in the air, with a further three new A321 and A320neo aircraft set to join our Tasman fleet in the coming months.”

Andrew Waddel added “There’s no better way for agents to understand the warm and welcoming nature of New Zealand and its people than by experiencing it first-hand, which is why we’ve partnered with Air New Zealand for the 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist Famil.”

The 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist Famil will take 100 Australian travel agents on 10 different itineraries across New Zealand from 15-21 November 2019.  For more information and to register check out theTourism New Zealand Traveltrade Website.
