Police have issued an alert and a CCTV image after a 27-year-old female tourist from the Netherlands was allegedly indecently assaulted on Sydney Harbour Bridge by two men who initially offered to take a photo of her.

New South Wales Police said that at about 10.50am on Wednesday 26 April 2017, two men offered to take a photograph for a 27-year-old woman who was visiting the southern pylon viewing platform on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Police have been told the men indecently assaulted the woman, before leaving.

NSW police believe these two men may be able to assist detectives investigating the case

Officers from Sydney City Local Area Command were notified and began an investigation. As inquiries continue, CCTV images have been released of two men who may be able to assist detectives.

The two men depicted are described as being of Asian appearance, aged 55 to 60, about 160cm tall, of a medium build, and balding black hair.

One of the men is shown wearing a white t-shirt, cream coloured pants, and dark shoes.

The second is shown wearing a grey polo shirt, grey check shorts and black thongs. He is carrying a white plastic bag.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
