Tramada Systems and TravelManagers Australia are delighted to announce their continuing partnership with TravelManager’s recent decision to undertake a joint project to move TravelManagers to the next generation of tramada®.

Tramada & Travel Managers AU PIC 2The decision is the outcome of over 12 months work by a dedicated project team at TravelManagers to ensure that their Personal Travel Managers (PTMs) have access to leading edge technology that will take this growing business to the next phase of its development.

Michael Gazal, Travel Managers Executive General Manager said, “This was a wide ranging analysis over more than 12 months which involved all parts of our business but most importantly our PTMs. Their needs are front and centre of what we do and we had to ensure we support them regardless of their type of business. We have PTMs who focus on corporate, leisure, groups, special interest and even events including a combination of these, really every type of travel business imaginable.”

Jo O’Brien, Tramada’s Chief Executive Officer, is excited to be partnering with TravelManagers and looking forward to kicking off the project. She commented, “Although this was a rigorous long term analysis we appreciated the professionalism that TravelManagers bought to the review. The decision was based on the functionality of the product including workflows and efficiencies, our Support levels, our Implementations team and our Training as well as our commitment to customisation and delivering to the specific needs of this unique group of travel professionals.“

Mr Gazal paid tribute to his team and the PTMs, “I want to take this opportunity to recognise and acknowledge the dedicated effort undertaken by the project team. They were absolutely focused on ensuring that they chose technology that was simple to use, had built in, intuitive efficiencies and provided meaningful reporting at a PTM level. PTMs were actively engaged in the process through focus groups and feedback surveys. He also congratulated the team at Tramada who were professional and responsive through every step of the evaluation. We are confident that extending this long term partnership with Tramada will deliver an outstanding result for our business.”

Both businesses are excited about the migration project and look forward to Travel Managers continuing its position as the pre-eminent home based travel consulting group in Australia.
