Trans-Pacific Cruising For Less With Celebrity and Royal Caribbean

February 17, 2017 Cruise Deals No Comments Email Email

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises, the big ship ocean-cruising experts, have unveiled a range of savings on their trans-Pacific voyages of adventure.

Experienced cruisers will know that these longer, open-jaw voyages – also known as repositioning cruises – offer unique itineraries and a chance to experience some more unusual destinations. Because they start and finish at different destinations, travellers can spend more time exploring exotic destinations like Honolulu and Seattle.

Radiance of the Seas, Australia’s culinary cruise ship, is sailing an 18-night trans-Pacific ocean crossing that departs Sydney on 18 April 2017. The voyage includes calls at Picton and Wellington in New Zealand then tropical Papeete, Moorea and Bora Bora in Tahiti, French Polynesia, before arriving at her final destination in Honolulu. Fares start from $2,499 per person, twin share in an Interior Stateroom, including savings of up to 30 per cent and USD$100 onboard credit. PLUS: For a limited time, fly home from just AU$99* per person from Honolulu to Sydney or Brisbane. Must be booked before 24 February.

Or choose a 17-night trans-Pacific crossing onboard the luxurious Celebrity Solstice, sailing from Sydney to Honolulu via Bay of Islands and Auckland in New Zealand, and the stunning islands of French Polynesia, including Papeete in Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora, before arriving to Lahaina and Honolulu in Hawaii. Departing 20 April 2017, prices start from $2,689 per person, twin share in an Interior Stateroom, and guests will experience all the famous modern luxury features of Australia’s highest rated cruise ship, including her half acre of manicured lawn, so you can feel the grass between your toes even at sea. Available until sold out.

Meanwhile Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas is offering a truly spectacular 22-night itinerary from Sydney all the way to Seattle. The Pacific journey calls at New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji en route to the Hawaiian island ports of Honolulu, Lahaina and Kailua. Departing from Sydney on 22 April 2017, it’s priced from $1,743 per person, twin share for an Interior Stateroom. The fare includes savings of up to 45 per cent as well as USD$100 onboard credit. Must be booked before 28 February 2017.
