Hahn Air, the scheduled German airline specialised in providing ticketing and distribution services to travel agencies and transportation partners, hit the milestone of 35 million insolvency-safe tickets sold. The ticket was issued by Vayatours (AntaVaya Group), a travel agency in Indonesia. To celebrate this occasion, Hahn Air donated 3,500 EUR to the CT ARSA Foundation, a local charity selected by Vayatours.

The milestone figure of 35 million tickets sold counts tickets issued since 2010 when Hahn Air introduced the free ticket insurance Securtix®. It guarantees reimbursement if a service issued on an HR-169 document with any of Hahn Air’s over 350 air, rail and shuttle partners is cancelled due to insolvency.

“We are pleased to offer our ticketing services to more than 100,000 travel agencies worldwide. With Hahn Air, agencies can issue airlines that are not in their local BSP or that do not grant ticketing authority in their market. This is a huge benefit for travel agencies such as our esteemed partner agency Vayatours in Indonesia, because it helps them to increase their sales and profits”, says Kimberley Long, Vice President Sales & Agency Distribution at Hahn Air.

The CT ARSA Foundation will use Hahn Air’s donation to provide additional aid to the disaster-stricken Indonesian island of Sulawesi. Since October 2018, the foundation has collected more than 80 tons of emergency supplies for earthquake and tsunami victims and supported the construction of schools and other public facilities.
