Travel Alberta’s Epic Video Reaches 3 Million Views

Travellers the world over have revealed their passion for the Canadian Rocky Mountain province of Alberta, with Travel Alberta’s (remember to breathe) YouTube video now surpassing three million views.

remember to breatheCelebrating the beauty of Alberta’s soaring Rockies, peaceful backcountry and energetic cities, the video has clearly struck a chord with consumers, making Travel Alberta’s destination video one of the most popular on YouTube.

“We love sharing our big sky prairies and thrilling Canadian Rocky vistas with the world,” says Lizzie Doyle, Marketing Development Director, Travel Alberta Australia.

“Three million clicks tell us that consumers are relishing these goose-bump moments and we’re elated, though not surprised, to have reached this major milestone.”

The video aligns with Travel Alberta’s brand campaign (remember to breathe) and presents Australian travellers with a compilation of the authentic experiences Alberta’s breathtaking landscapes have to offer, including the Canadian Rockies and Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and Kananaskis, plus urban centres such as Edmonton and Calgary.

“From dog sledding through the snow, skiing and ice skating, to fishing, horse riding and bathing in hot springs, the video takes travellers on an emotional journey with its enchanting imagery and inspiring adventures,” says Lizzie.

“With close to 60,000 Australians visiting the province each year it’s clear there is a desire for the Alberta experience – three million views speaks for itself.”

Travel Alberta’s (remember to breathe) video was also recognised at the International Tourism Fair (ITB) in Berlin last year where it received the equivalent of the tourism industry’s Oscar award for ‘Best Tourism Video in the World’.
