Travel Counsellors hold 1st in series of training webinars on global scale

Global independent travel company, Travel Counsellors has launched a new programme of live webinars hosted by international sales guru, Anthony Iannarino.

The one hour master-class was open to all Travel Counsellors across seven countries worldwide and offered business insights on how to deliver exceptional customer service and connect with customers.

Owing to high demand the company has already scheduled a second webinar for 2nd August with Travel Counsellors across the globe eager to sign up to the event. The interactive webinar was attended by more than 500 Travel Counsellors across all of the seven countries that the company operates in. Within the webinar agents had the opportunity to ask Anthony questions through virtually raising their hands, enabling them to fully participate in the session.

Sales Director, Malcolm Hingley comments: “We always receive incredibly positive feedback from Anthony’s business sessions at our conferences worldwide, so we wanted to introduce additional ways for our TCs to benefit from Anthony’s mentoring. It’s quite a feat to hold a webinar across seven countries, with Anthony in an eighth, so we used leading technology to make this possible. We are always introducing new, innovative ways to provide our Travel Counsellors with the training and tools they need to succeed. The webinar acted as a ‘top-up’ in training and is a great way to give our TCs a boost of morale.”

The webinar was entitled “5 rules to creating valued relationships” and offered tips and guidance on building strong and lasting relationships with clients. Anthony also made steps for Travel Counsellors moving forward, building an action plan for the agents to integrate into their daily schedules. Throughout the webinar Anthony incorporated the company’s core message of its personal approach to selling travel.

Malcolm added: “We were thrilled with the attendance of the webinar – we even had Travel Counsellors is Australia tune in although it was actually 11.30pm their time. Our aim is to make the webinar a monthly event and we will prioritise varying the times of each session to make the event equally accessible to all our TCs.”
