Travel Counsellors hold Cruise Training Days across the Country

Travel Counsellors has been travelling across the country during April hosting a number of key ocean cruising training days.

CRUISETRAININGThe innovative days were designed to give the agents an opportunity to chat with a host of cruise suppliers to gain insight into the benefits of each product offering. These training days are the first of several planned by the company to focus on key industry areas to help its agents develop their skills and knowledge within these sectors.

The training days were in high demand with over 50 Travel Counsellors attending across Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The events were hosted by key staff members from Business Development, IT and Air Operations, with presentations from the company’s main ocean cruise suppliers. Each training day comprised of a range of product updates from each supplier, highlighting their points of difference. The attendees not only enjoyed the benefit of seeing fellow Travel Counsellors, but they also had the chance to talk to the growing team of dedicated staff from the Melbourne head office.

Adelaide based Travel Counsellor, Patricia Hremias, attended one of the first Cruise Days on 7 April comments; “I’ve been a Travel Counsellor for three years now and I find these training days very beneficial. As we grow as a company the support I receive continues to be second to none. The event is just another example of how Travel Counsellors is constantly offering support and guidance to help me build up my business. Overall the day was extremely informative and I can’t wait to put the tips I’ve learnt into practice.

Patricia continues, “The day was also a great opportunity to catch up with fellow, local Travel Counsellors who I now consider to be really good friends. We all encourage and motivate each other and the best bit is we all celebrate each other’s success. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and look forward to our next catch up at the State Conferences.”
