Travel Counsellors hold first ever ‘discovery’ event

Melbourne based travel company Travel Counsellors is set to open its doors to host the first ever discovery morning on 25th July. 

The innovative morning is designed to give travel professionals an opportunity to experience what life is like at Travel Counsellors in relaxed, informal surroundings.

The discovery morning has been prompted by an increase in the number of people joining Travel Counsellors – up by 10% so far for this year in Australia.  Overall there has been an increase in the number of travel professionals enquiring about joining, particularly in recent months.  The company believes the discovery morning will give interested individuals a chance to get under the skin of who Travel Counsellors are.

Tracy Parkinson, Travel Counsellors Australia Manager commented:  “Our aim for this event is to give an honest and open insight into us as a company – that’s why we’ve named it a ‘discovery morning’.  This is a first for us and reflects our key company message that ‘with us it’s personal’.  Potential recruits will meet our extensive personal support team who look after commercial, marketing, business development and IT for our Australia based TCs. Attendees will also have the invaluable opportunity of chatting to current TCs about what life is really like running your own home-based business as part of Travel Counsellors. We know we offer the best support in the industry and by the end of the discovery morning all the attendees will have experienced it first-hand.  Anyone worried that it can be lonely working from home will be reassured when we show them all the ways we communicate with our agents.  One of these is our weekly webcast which we broadcast live from our in-house studio – attendees will be able to sit in on the live recording.”
