Travel Counsellors supports staff with the power of technology

Travel Counsellors logoTravel Counsellors continues to invest in innovative ways to support its network of agents by adding a fully interactive, daily TV program to the existing weekly program.

Produced in-house and broadcast live from the Travel Counsellors head office in Melbourne, the weekly and daily TV programs are a useful way for Travel Counsellors to receive information, learn about travel trends, receive company news, and connect with other Travel Counsellors agents and head office staff.

Due to the continued popularity of the weekly program, Travel Counsellors decided to expand the offering by adding a daily program to the schedule. Running for fifteen minutes, the program focuses on business development and aims to empower and motivate Travel Counsellors agents to secure new business in a variety of ways. The new daily program runs every weekday morning at 9.30 and features everything from marketing ideas to success stories and interviews with Travel Counsellors agents, making it essential morning viewing to set agents up for a successful, focused day.

“I really like the interactive element of these programs,” says Christine Jenkins, Travel Counsellor from Melbourne, adding that “…being able to ask questions and receive answers in real time is a bonus as we can problem solve and receive feedback together as a team. In my previous retail travel role, I didn’t have this level of support or interaction, and we all worked in the same room!”
