Seniors Holiday Travel, an Australian travel agency operating since 1998, has taken on what it calls “a more contemporary and meaningful brand identity” as it strives to meet the needs of people over 50 who love to travel.
Now known as Seniors Holiday Travel Team, the company positions itself as the over 50s travel specialists. The new branding has been designed to appeal to the ever-growing market of over 50s who are frequent travellers, both within Australia and abroad, the company said in a statement yesterday.
The centrepiece of the firm’s new look is a new, user-friendly website, packed with member benefits, exclusive travel deals, blogs and more.
Founder and chief executive Perry Morcombe, who has been at the helm from the beginning, says he still has a real passion for the travel business.
“There are a lot of travel agencies that target younger demographics, but not too many that focus on travellers aged 50 plus,” Morcombe said.
“Many of these businesses are only online, and we find that this simply doesn’t suit our customers. They still want to talk to a real person about their travel dreams. At Seniors Holiday Travel Team, we have an experienced team of travel specialists located in Australia who chat one-on-one to our customers about their individual travel plans. You’ll never be redirected to an offshore call centre with us!”
Seniors Holiday Travel Team has over 100,000 members in its privilege club, testifying to its high level of customer service and dedication to creating dream holidays for over 50s.
Morcombe says the travel industry is very competitive, with new players constantly entering the market, so it is vital to have a meaningful point of difference.
“Quite simply, our people make all the difference. We offer personal attention from a well-travelled team, who truly care about you and your travel experiences.
“This world is meant to be explored and when you have time to do it, why wouldn’t you?
“Our friendly travel experts will help you create your dream holiday, whether it’s on one of our hosted group tours, a tailor-made holiday, a cruise or maybe a combination of these. Many of our customers have travelled with us multiple times and some are like family to us now.”
