Travel tech provider, Sabre Pacific, partners with DocuSign

DocuSign, Inc., (DocuSign®), the global standard for Digital Transaction Management (DTM), and global travel technology company, Sabre Pacific, have partnered to help travel agents in the South Pacific say goodbye to pen and paper.
Sabre Pacific connects travel buyers and sellers through the world’s largest travel marketplace, the Sabre® global distribution system (GDS) which receives 1.4 billion API calls per day and sells more than $110 billion worth of travel each year.

The partnership has seen the tech provider fully integrate DocuSign’s DTM platform into its CRM system, providing over 2,000 Sabre-connected customers with a seamless sales agreement process. With DocuSign, Sabre staff can simply upload documents to the CRM system, place tags in the document where the signature, initial and dates are required, and then hit send – all within a secure, online environment.

Accelerating the manual process of finalising paperwork has been especially beneficial for team members who are out on the road or for regional businesses. For example, one of our first ever DocuSign transactions was in Orange, NSW, which was 256 kms away from the account manager. Previously, this transaction would have taken a day as the account manager would have had to drive down to Orange and finalize the paperwork; however, thanks to the flexibility of DocuSign’s cloud platform, the account manager was able to send the contract within minutes and the customer securely signed the contract within a couple of hours.” Eitan Saban, APAC Vice President & GM, DocuSign said: “We’re delighted to support Sabre Pacific.
