TravelCube drops prices on popular activities in new Sightseeing Sale

With sightseeing tours now one of its fastest-growing products in Australasia, TravelCube is giving travel agents even more reasons to book by cutting prices on a wide range of popular activities across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific by up to 60%.

John Stucci, TravelCube’s Vice President Sales and Marketing, Pacific, says that almost one-in-four bookings through the company’s Australian and New Zealand websites now includes a sightseeing tour, destination experience or  transfer.

“More and more agents are taking advantage of the fact that TravelCube now offers an efficient and secure way to book tours and activities,” says Stucci. “As a result, we’ve seen the number of bookings in which agents combine a hotel with a destination experience grow from 19% in 2016 to 23% so far this year.

“Given that we now offer almost 9,000 destination experiences that figure is only going grow.”

TravelCube’s Sightseeing Sale covers everything from helicopter rides over the Las Vegas Strip to bike rides around Beijing and dinner in a vineyard in Florence, with discounts available for bookings before 30 June 2017 and travel before 15 December 2017.

In Europe, selected sightseeing experiences – such as an Ancient Rome Walking Tour and a small group tour of Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia – have all fallen by 10%, while in the US discounts range from 15% off the cost of entry to USS Battleship Missouri to 40% off a sunset walking tour of the Hollywood Hills.

Across Asia prices are down by 20% for selected tours, including a Great Wall Experience in Beijing, a Temple and River of Kings excursion in Bangkok and local food experiences in Hong Kong, Bali, Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

TravelCube is also offering up to 40% off day tours of Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. And discounts are available for tours in Auckland, the Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne, where tickets to SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium are now available at half price.
