Intrepid’s Sailing Adventures are proving to be a massive hit with travellers and agents alike, with 99% of feedback received from travellers from the new season, which kicked off last month, being a perfect 5 out of 5 score.

Felicity McKay (FC Doncaster), Kieran Betts (FC Batemans Bay), Candice Jenkins (FC Darwin Hyper Red), Holly McLaren (FC North Essendon), Emma Chester (Intrepid Group Agent Sales), Tamara Petschenyi (FC Heartland Product), Jayde Chambers (FC Aldinga), Vicki Trpcevska (FC Roselands), Mitcham Duval (FC CBA Flagship), Nicole Cocks (FC Samford), Holly Gurskis (Flight Centre Host), Helen Galloway (FC Garden City WA), Kristy Flay (Intrepid Group host) and Jane Stott (FC Geraldton).

The feedback covers sailing trips in Thailand, Burma, Cuba and the British Virgin Islands with feedback from travellers highlighting the exciting itineraries, fun activities, the expert knowledge from local skippers and the fresh food on board.

And a group of Flight Centre agents across Australia have just returned from a famil of Intrepid’s Phuket Sailing Adventure with rave reviews. Launching from Phuket, the group sailed around the region and experienced the beautiful turquoise waters, sandy beaches and limestone peaks of Thailand, visiting islands like Ko Phi Phi and Railay. Jayde Chambers commented that the trip was “the best week of my life, hands down”. Helen Galloway loved the chef on board and thought it was “the best food I have ever eaten on a famil!”

Sales for Intrepid’s brand-new sailing trip in Sardinia and Corsica and small boat cruise down the Canal du Midi are selling well for the very first departures from May 2016. This reflects the popularity of Intrepid’s Europe sailing trips, with most at full capacity this year.

Intrepid’s Marine Product Manager, Dianne Muldoon, just returned from a test run of the Canal du Midi cruise and is excited for what lies ahead for the first passengers booked on the trips in 2016. “The trip was so unique as the small boat holds a maximum of eight people and is able to cruise down the small 300 year old tree lined Canal du Midi with ease. Jumping off to cycle through the beautiful countryside and visit medieval castles along the way is hard to beat.”
