Travellers Can Follow in the Footsteps of the 4th ANZAC Light Horse Brigade and Lawrence of Arabia on the Historic Charge on Beersheba.
At dusk on the 31st October 1917, the 4th ANZAC Light Horse burst through Turkish defences and seized the strategically important town of Beersheba.
This capture was critical in supporting the advance on Palestine of the British Empire Forces and the forces loyal to Lawrence of Arabia.
