At dusk on the 31st October 1917, the 4th ANZAC Light Horse burst through Turkish defences and seized the strategically important town of Beersheba.

This capture was critical in supporting the advance on Palestine of the British Empire Forces and the forces loyal to Lawrence of Arabia.

In the build up to next year’s huge 100th anniversary celebrations, wholesaler CHAT Tours have just released details of this year’s stunning 13 day tour of this region which will culminate in a special service to celebrate the charge in Beersheba on the 31st October 2016.Untitled
