Geckos Adventures next year will cut its maximum age-limit from 39 to 29 years-old to meet a growing demand from the next generation of travellers.

Surveys conducted by parent company Intrepid show that more people are looking for a “genuine” youth product that enabled them to travel with like-minded people of their own age.

Geckos has partnered with Friends International, which aims at building futures for marginalised kids and young people. From every trip booked, Geckos will make a contribution to provide more young people with training in a range of vocations and to contribute towards ending the cycle of poverty.

His show, An Evening with Tim Rice, has been created exclusively for Seabourn and will debut on the line’s newest ship, Seabourn Encore, in early 2017.

Australians will be among the first to enjoy the new production, with Seabourn Encore spending its maiden summer cruising Australian waters from January to March next year.

An Evening with Tim Rice will be a concert-style presentation narrated by Tim, who will lead guests on a musical journey through some of his best-known work.
