Here’s something for devotees of the round-ball game, Thailand has its first football-themed hotel — the 60-room Amari Buriram United, in the north-eastern province of Buriram and adjacent to the Thunder Castle Stadium, home to the celebrated local team, Buriram United.

The hotel is modelled on a sports stadium and most rooms look onto a central area which includes a mini football field and swimming pool.
