TravelManagers Reach 400 Milestone but Target 500

The champagne corks have been flying as TravelManagers celebrate the signing of its 400th personal travel manager and, an average annual sales growth of 41 per cent over the past five and a half years.

Independent research conducted in June 2013 found 54.5 per cent of all travel agents find working as a home-based agent very appealing with 64 per cent citing flexibility of hours as the number one reason to be a home-based consultant. TravelManagers experience endorses this research with

June 2013 being a record month for recruiting new personal travel managers, an increase of 50 per cent in comparison to June 2012.

“The growth of new recruits has been expediential this year, surpassing all of our expectations.  We receive interest daily from owners and managers, many of whom are often the highest producing consultant within their agency. The appeal of being home-based allows them to focus on their top client’s travel arrangements and by eliminating costs and non-revenue producing activities, substantially improving their income,” says TravelManagers’ General Manager Michael Gazal.

Referrals from TravelManagers’ existing personal travel managers have contributed 56.5 per cent of all new recruits for 2013.

“The fact that the majority of recruits are as a result of personal travel managers recommending TravelManagers to former colleagues and friends in the industry speaks volumes about the number of advocates we have internally and we’re very proud of that,” says Gazal.

Michelle Michael-Pecora personal travel manager, representative for Castle Hill says it only took one conversation about TravelManagers from a friend who was already a personal travel manager.
