TravelManagers has always prided themselves on the support and flexibility they provide but personal travel manager Georgina Grandi from Wynnum Manly, Queensland says they have gone the extra mile.

“I love TravelManagers and I love what I do so when my life changed and we decided to move states, get married and start a family there was a period of about four years where I wanted to focus 100 percent on my family. TravelManagers could not have done enough for me; they went beyond the call of duty.”

When Grandi decided to start work again there was only ever one company she considered working with.

“I never thought about anything else but returning to work for TravelManagers, they are incredibly family orientated and they truly value their personal travel managers not only professionally but personally too,” she says

Grandi returned to TravelManagers married, with a new surname, with three children, operating from a different state.

“Yes it’s true I returned with a lot more baggage than I left,” Grandi says laughing, “I am very excited to be back doing what I love with TravelManagers.”

With twins under two and a son who has just started school, Grandi has decided to specialise in bookings for families and more specifically families of multiple children.

“Having twins and my son only 13 months older, it got me thinking about how much more challenging it is to go on holiday with multiples – twins, triplets, quads – heaven forbid! Are the rooms big enough to cater for two, three or even four cots? Will the transfers or car companies be able to provide enough car seats? So many extra questions that need thinking about,” she says.!

Grandi will target traditional family short haul holiday destinations of Fiji, Vanuatu and Asia as well as to other parts of the South Pacific and locally in Queensland.

“I want to take the hassle out of a holiday for these families, make it easy because I know with baby twins and a toddler on the go, I sure needed a break and some much needed time in the sun.”

Grandi has also recently completed the accreditation process of becoming an accredited Travel With Kidz consultant to further equip herself as a specialist in family travel.

“This is another great opportunity that TravelManagers provided me with. Their partnerships with suppliers and of course their heavy emphasis on training and up-skilling has been fantastic for my confidence and getting me up to speed quickly with me out of the industry for four years.”

TravelManagers Executive General Manager Michael Gazal, says Grandi epitomizes exactly what TravelManagers is about.

“It’s a thrill to see Georgina return and be able to capitalize on her personal situation as an area of specialization. TravelManagers will support her every step of the way including access to training and suppliers. This is what we are all about – we love to see personal travel managers personalize their business and make it work for them.”
