Travelmarvel has announced a significant expansion of its China program for 2016; increasing departures of the best selling 13-day Imperial China tour, adding the Yunnan Province and Hong Kong as new destinations, and expanding its Select Experiences portfolio by offering more sightseeing and dining options..
The new Travelmarvel China 2016 brochure offers a choice of six itineraries ranging from 13 to 29 days in length, two of which feature combinations with Travelmarvel’s bestselling Mekong cruises.
Due to the high demand for its popular 13-day Imperial China, Travelmarvel has increased departures for 2016, offering a choice of 12 dates. Priced from $3,995 per person, twin share, the trip includes three nights in Beijing, a four night Yangtze river cruise aboard the MS VictoriaSelina or MS Victoria Anna, two nights in Xi’an, a night in Wuzhen and two nights in Shanghai.
Travelmarvel has also added Yunnan and Hong Kong to its touring program, creating three new itineraries in the process.
Both new destinations feature on the 27-day Grand China which commences with an 11 day journey through the culturally immersive Yunnan province, highlights of which include: the World Heritage-listed Stone Forest near Kunming; the chance to explore the ancient city of Dali; a cable car ride up Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the Impression Lijiang show; and in Shangri La, a visit to Tiger Leaping Gorge and the 17th-century Songzanlin Monastery. Two nights in Chengdu offer the chance to see the world’s tallest stone Buddha and visit the Leshan Panda Research Centre.
Guests then follow the same route as Travelmarvel’s Imperial China itinerary before spending two nights in Guilin, including a cruise along the Li River to the Limestones Karts of Yangshuo, enroute to Hong Kong. In Hong Kong they ride the star ferry, take the Peak Tramway up Victoria Peak and enjoy the highlights of one of the most exciting cities in the world.
