Travelmarvel has packed more Queensland into its classic Sydney to Cairns tour, switching to air travel for the Sydney-Gold Coast leg and extending the itinerary to 13 days.

From April 2017 the East Coast Adventure tour will include an additional night on the Gold Coast and a one-night stay at the Sebel Noosa, with extra time set aside to explore this holiday hotspot.

The itinerary updates also apply to the 13-day Reef Islands & East Coast tour, which operates the East Coast Adventureitinerary in reverse.

Travelmarvel’s Queensland tours operate from September to May each year and take in the best of the Sunshine State, from the vast beaches of the Gold Coast to the lush tropical rainforests surrounding Cairns.

A leisurely-paced itinerary includes two night stays at many destinations, including at the Kingfisher Bay Resort on World-Heritage listed Fraser Island, in the Whitsundays at the Daydream Island Resort and Spa and at the Pullman Cairns International.

On tour, Travelmarvel Signature Experiences include an Outer Reef cruise on the Great Barrier Reef, a ride across the treetops on the Kuranda Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and a visit to Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast. In Sydney, guests are either welcomed or farewelled from their tours with a delicious dinner on board a harbour cruise.

Commenting on the release of Travelmarvel’s 2017/18 brochure, Travelmarvel Executive General Manager David Cox said the itinerary changes would allow travellers to get the most from their Queensland experience. “Relaxation should be a big part of any Queensland itinerary. By extending our tour and cutting out travel time, we are giving our guests more time to soak up the natural beauty of their surrounds and see the major attractions.”

Travelmarvel’s 13-day East Coast Adventure and Reef Islands & East Coast tours are priced from $4295 per person twin share, including the Sydney-Gold Coast flight, services of a Travelmarvel tour director, special welcome and farewell dinners, airport transfers and all accommodation, as well as sightseeing and entrance fees as detailed in each itinerary.

An 11-day variation excludes Sydney and is priced from $3595 per person twin share.

Travlemarvel also has an Earlybird Offer for the tours, and guests who book before March 31 and pay a deposit within seven days will be eligible to save $400 per couple on the 13-day itinerary, or $300 per couple on the 11-day itinerary, for departures from April 2017 onwards.

Single travellers can save up to 50% off the single supplement, a saving of up to $650.  All offers are subject to availability.

Earlybird Offers can be combined with a Travelmarvel’s Early Payment Discount of up to $200 per couple when guests book and pay in full 10 months prior to departure. Groups of six or more can save an additional $200 per couple with the Travel with Friends deal.
