27th September is celebrated as a world tourism day throughout the world as initiative by UNWTO (United Nations world tourism organization).

UNWTO  announces a theme every year, according to which, this year’s theme was sustainable /permanent tourism.
Following the.thread,Travind Institute of Travel & Tourism Management India Pvt Ltd , an institute based in Pune-India diced the subject of Indian tourism with its Incredibility & Sustainability ( http://wtd.unwto.org/content/indian-tourism-its-incredibility-sustainability-travind-institute-travel-tourism-management ) and presented the result to all the young generation right from high school going patrons up till undergraduates. The introspective covered witnessing sustainability to conserve environment and the consequences of tourism due to this.

The beginning of the program was addressed by briefing travel and tourism growth, its original point of view is eternal tourism,  eternal meaning, in which children have given a good example of Taj Mahal, that day the Taj Mahal is yellow, the reason is pollution, Pune’s pulse Mula and Mutha river which divides Pune city into two parts, but is it really worth calling the lifeline of Pune?

Have they cleaned the history of Shivaji Maharaj in Sinhagarh?

All these questions were presented in front of the younger generation. The “pathnatya” ( a live street play) was held in front of children to further the subject of sustainable tourism to the children – unity in diversity of India.

Key speakers of the program Mr.Rohit Dhotre conveyed the message of  how to grow tourism and how to conserve it. The program concludes Principal Sushma Bhosale thanked the people of this region and thanked them for giving them information about the importance of agriculture tourism in the tourism sector and leaving the arts, commerce and science to higher education and making a career in the tourism sector.

The program lastly concluded by Prof.Shinde expressing wote of thanks to Travind Institute and all the students.
