Tripadvisor Names Travellers’ Choice Favourites – The Brands Travellers Say They Must Have When Travelling

TripAdvisor®, the world’s largest travel site*, today announced the winners of its third annual Travellers’ Choice  awards for Travel Favourites highlighting the top brands that travellers around the world prefer for their trips. 

In Australia, winners from car rentals and coffee to travel magazines and tablet computers were named in 38 categories. Traveller’s Choice Favourites are also being announced in Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Russia, Spain and the U.S. and the U.K.

“We are pleased to announce the brands that travellers voted their Travellers Choice Favourites,” said Barbara Messing, chief marketing officer for TripAdvisor. “Travellers packing their suitcases can’t go wrong with these travel picks from our savvy community.”

Award methodology:

Surveys were conducted in each country using a total panel of more than 5,500 TripAdvisor travellers to select a shortlist of brands/products in each category. A total of 95,056 travelers (including 4,838 Australian respondents) then selected their favourites from the shortlists.
