TripIt® from Concur®, the world’s highest-rated travel-organizing app, today announced new TripIt shortcuts for Siri on iOS 12. Now TripIt users can set up voice commands to access their upcoming travel plans using Siri.
“With this update, we created a seamless experience between TripIt and Siri,” said Jen Moyse, director of product for TripIt from Concur. “So, the next time you’re driving to the airport and need your flight details without taking your eyes off the road, all you have to do is ask Siri for the most up-to-date information from TripIt.”
There are two TripIt shortcuts available for Siri: flight information and travel plans. When travelers ask for flight information, TripIt will provide the time until departure and the flight’s gate number. TripIt Pro users will also hear the flight’s status. For travel plans, TripIt will provide all important details about what’s coming up next.
“Siri Shortcuts work not only on iPhone but also on iPad, Apple Watch, HomePod, and even CarPlay, making it easy to use voice commands to access important travel plans in your TripIt account—anytime, from anywhere,” continued Moyse.
TripIt’s Siri Shortcuts are available for all TripIt users with the iOS app running iOS 12. While TripIt organizes travel plans in one place for free, a subscription to TripIt Pro ($49/year) is required to receive flight status updates.
