TripScanner Unveils Distribution Partnership Program

November 8, 2013 Tech No Comments Email Email

TripScanner announced a new partnership program, making its “open booking” solution available through distribution partners, including Travel Management Companies (TMCs), Expense Management Companies, and other B2B solution providers.

TripScanner’s “open booking” solution helps companies control their travel expense, while allowing employees to book through any travel website or agency. Employees simply forward their itineraries to TripScanner, and TripScanner provides their company with real-time policy alerts and reporting on their travel expenses.

This announcement comes just over a month since TripScanner launched its solution to the public. “We are excited about our new partnership program,” said Ethan Laub, TripScanner’s founder and CEO. “We believe it will be a successful marketing channel for us, and enable our partners to offer a turn-key ‘open booking’ solution to their customers.”

TMCs can benefit by offering TripScanner to their customers. “TripScanner offers TMCs a great way to capture, control and report on ‘outside’ bookings made by their corporate customers,” said Laub. “This is a pain-point for companies, as they can’t track employees or monitor travel spending when a trip is not booked through the TMC. With TripScanner, TMCs can offer their corporate customers a comprehensive solution that covers all travel bookings.”

Expense Management providers can also benefit from TripScanner’s partnership platform. “For the past few years, end-to-end travel and expense management has been a major theme in the industry,” said Laub. “Expense Management providers that lack a travel solution are at a competitive disadvantage. TripScanner offers providers a turn-key travel management solution to market to their customers, which can help win and retain business.”

TripScanner’s partnership program was designed to be quick and easy for partners to rollout. Partners get a co-branded TripScanner website to offer their customers, at no up-front cost. According to Laub, a partner can be up-and-running within a few weeks of signing a partnership agreement. As an added bonus, customers get a 60-day free trial and 20% discount on TripScanner’s monthly fee when enrolling through a partner.
